leftover track from the recording sessions for my upcoming double album. it's about the obvious gayness inherent in the biblical story of David and Jonathan. the only reason it's not on the second of the two albums' final tracklist is that all the other tracks are whole lot more personal, diaristic, and relevant to my life currently and my understanding of myself and my position within the world.

song is a pretty good demonstration one of the production techniques I'm using on a number of these upcoming songs: procedural melody generation from randomized sequences of little bits and pieces from contemporary christian songs I sampled. If you like this song, there's a number of songs like it on these two albums which I think you will like as well! :) I hope you look forward to them as much as I'm looking forward to sharing them.
