A long gestating split EP between Hannah and myself. We started working on this in 2020 a few months into the pandemic. "Flora" comes from the fact that Hannah's project at the time, Fell From The Tree, referenced a plant, and "Fauna" comes from my name, Wren Dove Lark, references animals. So that's how we approached this split! Hannah took over the first half, and I closed us out. We each wanted to cover one of each other's songs, AND we thought it would be fun to have coordinating covers from the golden age of Disney Channel pop music.

We both have a very emotional attachment to this project. For Hannah, this EP is an epilogue to the Fell From The Tree project, as she now has moved onto her current (amazing) musical project, The Answers In Between. For me, this EP represents the through-line from the sounds I was playing with on my "ODDBIRD" and "🙃" albums to the plunderphonic pop sound of my forthcoming double album (hopefully to be released SOON 😭), "boundarypush" & "anticipatience," which are filled to the brim with queer songs of growing pains and euphoric love built from contemporary Christian music samples.

We both hope you enjoy listening to this music as much as we enjoyed making it! It's such a relief to finally release it! <3 We appreciate any and all support!
